Does Tokopedia ship to the USA, Australia or the UK?

Short answer: no. Tokopedia delivers only inside Indonesia. To get something from Tokopedia to another country, someone in Indonesia has to receive the parcel and send it on: a forwarding service or a person you know. Below is what Tokopedia's own rules say, the forwarding service we found that confirms Tokopedia orders, and customs basics for the USA and Australia, checked in October 2026.

What Tokopedia's rules say

Paying from abroad

Paying is the easy part. Tokopedia accepts international credit cards on Visa, Mastercard, Diners Club, Carte Blanche and American Express. A foreign card can only pay in full, not in instalments, and some international cards are still declined. If you live in the USA, note that the Tokopedia iPhone app is not in the US App Store (it is in the Australian and UK stores), so you would use the website.

How to get a Tokopedia order abroad

  1. A buy-for-you service with a warehouse in Indonesia. The one we found whose own site confirms both an Indonesian warehouse and Tokopedia orders is Indo4ward, run by a Singapore company. You send the product links, they quote within 2 business days, buy the items and ship them from Indonesia. Their FAQ gives 11 to 17 business days in total, prices that include most of the shipping plus a handling fee shown at checkout, payment with international cards through PayPal, and customs charges on the customer. They do not ship batteries or anything containing batteries, vapes and tobacco, alcohol, prescription medicine or weapons. Their country list includes the USA, Australia, the UK, Singapore and Malaysia. We have not ordered through them, so read their terms before you pay.
  2. Someone you know in Indonesia. They order to their own address, then send the parcel abroad with an international courier. This keeps the Tokopedia order normal, so buyer protection still works.

What not to do: arrange the purchase with the seller in chat and pay outside Tokopedia. Tokopedia's terms say any deal made outside the platform is the buyer's own responsibility, and sellers are not allowed to share contact details to sell directly. Older guides also mention Buyandship's Indonesia warehouse, but Indonesia no longer appears among the origin countries on Buyandship's pricing page.

Reading Tokopedia from abroad

Whichever route you pick, you still have to find the product on a site that is almost entirely in Indonesian: its English switch translates only the top menu. TokoTranslate works in desktop Chrome anywhere in the world: it translates Tokopedia into English and shows every price in US dollars, Australian dollars, pounds or euros, so you can pick the right product and size before you send the link to a forwarder.

FAQ

Does Tokopedia ship internationally?

No. Tokopedia only allows its partner couriers, which are Indonesian delivery services, and the address form needs an Indonesian sub-district and a receiver phone number that starts with 0 or 62. A seller who enters a tracking number from an overseas courier risks having the order cancelled.

Can I order from Tokopedia if I live in the USA?

You can browse the site and pay with an international credit card, but the delivery address has to be in Indonesia. To get the item to the USA, use a buy-for-you service with a warehouse in Indonesia, or someone in Indonesia who receives the parcel and sends it on.

Does Tokopedia ship to Australia or the UK?

No, the same rule applies to every country outside Indonesia. The routes are the same as for the USA: a forwarding service with an Indonesian warehouse or a contact in Indonesia.

Can I ask the seller to send it abroad by DHL?

Not through Tokopedia. Its terms let Tokopedia refuse tracking numbers from couriers outside its partner list, and any deal arranged outside the platform, for example by chat, is the buyer's own responsibility, so you lose Tokopedia's buyer protection.

Will I pay import duty on a Tokopedia order?

In the USA, it can be: the duty-free exemption for parcels worth $800 or less is suspended for all countries, post included, with an exception for genuine gifts. In Australia, most goods worth AUD1,000 or less pay no duties or taxes at the border, but GST may be charged at the point of sale.
